Come ye thankful people come, raise the song of harvest home.  All is safely gathered in, ere the winter storms begin…

As Fall moves into Winter, it is the time of the harvest.  Here at First Mountain Design, we, too, have gathered in our crops.  We hope you will join us at our HOLIDAY STUDIO SALE December 1oth, where we will present our latest creations, along with some of your favorite designs.  To this we will add a few boutique clothing pieces, fun accessories, great socks, scarves, &, as always, tasty treats.  Glazed cranberry ginger pound cake anyone?  Yummm…

Spring is here, and so are we.

Welcome to our new blog.  With our blog we hope to introduce you to the new styles & fabrics from First Mountain Design that don’t always find there way to our website – www.firstmountaindesign.com.   Funny thing, that.  Please bear with us while we get up to speed & deal with the ever-changing technological learning curve.  We’ll start off with baby steps & manageable bites to whet your appetite.

Now on to the teasers…

New this spring is the CONCHA .  We like to say it’s a tunic version of our ever popular mariposa, a longer, fuller body with slightly longer, set-in sleeves.  It comes in one size – your size – & is generously cut.  Fabrics for the most part are our great rayon batiks from Bali.  The CONCHA drapes beautifully & flows well.  Dress it up, dress it down.

Back by popular demand is the PANEL JACKET, now in its second year.  We listened to those of you who wanted a larger, longer jacket than our SUMMER JACKET.  Et voilà… it’s a totally different cut, cut fuller & longer.  This, too, is one size & oversized.  Again, we’ve made it from beautiful rayon batiks from Bali which ensures a soft drape.
